     As a young mother of an infant baby girl, I feel so proud of being a complete woman! But, at the same time..... I am entirely shaken by the heart rending headlines of child abuses, female foeticides, child traffickings, child sacrifices,  etc. Therefore, I have the very reason to be included among the group of worried mothers who have an emotional dilemma regarding the upbringing of their children in this inhumane era in which the complete essence of 'HUMANITY' has been totally lost in various terrific manners.

      It has been clearly witnessed that there is no more validity for 'personal security' even at a place called as 'our home'. Thus, the daughters are being brutally raped by their own fathers, nieces are being tortured by their own uncles, girls are being harassed by their own cousins, women are being mistreated by their in-laws & much more. Once upon a time, our homes were visualized as places of heaven but sadly this very home has become a stake of torture for some of us in this present era...

      I have no specific words to express my disappointment regarding the wounding issues of little children nowadays. It is indeed such a shameless conduct when an innocent five year old child is being sexually abused. This enraging incident itself speaks out the urgency of zero tolerance to be cultivated in our minds. Several newspapers cry out the need to awaken our sleeping souls towards the encircling issues of such brutality. Sadly, we are facing situations in which 'HUMANITY ' has been totally lost in such a saddened manner that even little children are being insanely targeted for petty selfish reasons.

        We are indeed a great Nation  and 'Patriotism' itself sparks in each one of us. But, somewhere down the line.. we have blinded ourselves and have become the encouraging types of such unjustifiable sufferings. Some of us are not even bothered about such issues just because these are not affecting us directly. Such people often forget that some day these very issues might get caught up with them as well.

        Little children are often coaxed or threatened by sexual predators. In most of these cases, children are being approached by the people who are quite well known to them in the form of relatives, family friends, neighbors, etc.

         Here, I would like to recall the experience of a young girl who had revealed that she was sexually abused by none other than her father's intimate friend and this had happened at such an innocent age in which she didn't even know what was happening with her at that particular time..... It was only after many years did she realize that it was 'sexual abuse' she had gone through. Now, it is being neatly observed that the humble innocence found in little children is often being targeted by the sexual predators as they know very well that this surely prevents them from getting exposed and hence are not brought out that immediately under the radar of any suspicions.

        Another such incident was claimed in a particular newspaper. A wealthy old man had a paralyzed wife. As a result, a female servant was appointed to attend to the household duties. Now this old man used to consume such capsules which used to boost his sexual stamina. Finally, he started having relations with this servant. One particular day, he wasn't satisfied with her as she was menstruating. So, this sexually starved oldie went and raped the school going daughter of that servant. Unfortunately for her, the little girl was playing in the other room at that time when this man entered and committed this brutal act which ultimately caused the little one's death. Later on, the servant was paid a lumpsum amount to shut her mouth and the child was secretly buried.

       Well, this might not have affected our lives but still we can't keep ourselves silent. God forbid..but who knows what we might have to face in our Tomorrows.. What if we have to face similar situations???? Are we still gonna keep quiet ????

   * WHY KEEP SILENT NOW ?????
   * JUST BECAUSE THIS IS NOT OUR PROBLEM ?????????

      One of my aunt too had  revealed an incident which had recently taken place in her own dwelling society. On a particular occasion, all the children (both big and small) were playing 'Hide & Seek' with each other. After some time, the electrical lights went out and in this moment of darkness.. a young girl was being touched & smooched all over by a group of unknown people. She couldn't recognize them as it was completely dark nor could she escape as she herself was in an emotional dilemma. Sadly, she hasn't been able to recover herself from the shock of such an unexpected 'sexual abuse'.

       In short, the safety of our children is being upside down and no more is our home a safer place to dwell in. Does this mean our children shouldn't be allowed to be a part of the outside world????? Are we supposed to be over-protective types ???

       Well, as per my personal opinion.. we must collectively take up the responsibility of safeguarding our children. We must keep a deliberate watch on those who communicate with them. We should have our own personal preventive measures regarding these serious issues. And, as a responsible society... we must have strict zero tolerances towards such brutality taking place which not only paralyze the budding up innocent minds but also do ruin their upcoming future.......

               I am glad to emphasize here on the amazing capabilities of the modern youth of today ! The youthful agendas have indeed been given the freshness of positivity. This has helped in arousing  humanism which in turn has inspired many youths from within.        Youths of today are no more shy to come out with their brilliant ideas to change the present things for the betterment of our future. There are incidents taking place where youths have come forward to lend their helping  hands in particular situations.  Here's a list of such inspiring accounts :- (1) A guy from Mumbai named as Reuben defends his friend and his wife when some drunkards had charged at them to molest the woman. (2)  A guy lets loose his pet dogs to chase a stranger who had stabbed a woman at that very moment. Luckily, the accused was caught! (3)  Many Puneite females have come forward with 'FEARLESS...

(Y) THE SUICIDAL LIFE OF DARING TRANSGENDERS.

      ' LIFE' has never been normal throughout the journey of our survival. We are made to face new challenges along the paths of tragedy. We either lose ourselves in the run or we win over the circumstances.
