'LIFE' is a Journey.... We keep on meeting different people on various platforms of livelihood. There are good as well as bad people wherever we go. They either belong to us as our own or they tend to be strangers. Both are equally important as they help us to learn the dictated lessons of reality.
There is a particular class of people who are not blood-related to us but we do depend on them a lot. Their regular participation in work brings much relief to us. Some of us feel so uncomfortable while interacting with them. They are often viewed as 'untouchables' by the proud elite class. So, who are 'THEY' mentioned over here????? ....
Well, I am talking about the ones who are hugely responsible for the term 'CLEANLINESS' not only of our homes but also on the streets. These are the ones who have humbly dedicated their lives in cleaning up the mess that we leave behind. They are often called as 'garbage collectors' and 'kachra walis'. But, they undoubtedly put up a very important work of tidying up our environment. They mostly belong to the poor families.
I made up my mind to write about these people when I had come across my own mess at home. As I was cleaning up, I found that it was indeed a very important task of keeping the germs away. At times, there seems to be a stinking smell as we clean up our garbage and I really wonder about the situation of these garbage collectors who strive hard to earn their living amidst all the dirt and the nose wrenching smell.... My focus is also on the sweepers who find no hesitation to pick up their brooms to sweep. All of these are quite hardworking people and their dedication is indeed appreciable.
Nextly, I would like to bring the 'servants' in the spotlight. These people are also extremely important as they fulfill the daily routines of our everyday lives especially the high profile class hugely depend on them. Female servants are mostly sought for cooking food, washing utensils, washing clothes, babysitting, mopping the floor, etc. While male servants are on duty for buying some errands, sending some important message to someone, cleaning the vehicles, etc. It's sad to see some of them being mistreated by their so called 'Masters'.
But, on the other hand...things have changed a lot. All these category of people are being recognized and appreciated. Nobody dares to hurl insults at them as they have learned to defend themselves. They have become quite well-organized and are punctual in their timings. They have updated themselves with the latest technology of handling mobiles! Some of them have wonderfully picked up the threads of the English Language! They humbly feed their family and also fulfill their social responsibilities. We got to learn from them.....

( This has been penned by Me keeping in mind those special categories of people who are quite helpful not only to us but also to the entire society. They undoubtedly deserve salutations from us. And, they are The Legends of our Yesterdays, Todays and Tomorrows...... )
